Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD)
Dear Fellow UC San Diego Alum,
I graduated from UC San Diego in 2022 as a proud recipient of the Chancellor’s Associates Scholarship. As a first-generation college student from a low-income background, getting into college wasn’t the hard part — figuring out how to afford it was.
This scholarship gave me more than just financial support. It gave me a sense of belonging, access to helpful resources, and a support system that guided me through my time at UC San Diego. It played a huge role in my success, and I saw how much it helped my peers as well.
After graduating, I knew I wanted to give back. That is why I became a donor and joined the Chancellor’s Associates Council to help build a strong network between alumni and the Chancellor’s Associates program — and to ensure future students continue to receive the same life-changing support as I did.
If you’re looking for a way to make a real impact, I encourage you to give. One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to funding this scholarship and helping more Chancellor’s Associates Scholars like me succeed.
