Message from the Chair

Dear friends,

As I begin my term as Chair of Chancellor's Associates, I want to thank you for being part of this incredible community. It is an honor to serve alongside so many generous alumni, donors and friends who share a commitment to expanding opportunity through education.

One of the things that excites me most about Chancellor's Associates is that we're more than a scholarship program – we're a community. Our generosity certainly helps students pursue their education, but I also believe the relationships we build together have the power to shape their futures in meaningful ways. Every conversation, every event and every connection has the potential to inspire new ideas, open doors and create opportunities that extend well beyond graduation.

This year, I hope you'll join us whenever you can, whether you attend a colloquium, meet our remarkable scholars or share your own experiences with the next generation of leaders. Your presence and perspective are just as valuable as your philanthropy. Together, we can continue building a community where scholars are encouraged not only to succeed at UC San Diego, but to confidently pursue the opportunities that await them afterward.
