Chancellor's Associates Impact Reports
More Than a Decade of Impact – and Growing
Since 1966, Chancellor’s Associates has grown from a modest discretionary fund into one of UC San Diego’s most impactful scholarship initiatives. Over the past 12 years, we’ve expanded from serving a handful of students to supporting more than 1,000 scholars each year, offering far more than just tuition support.
The accompanying Chancellor’s Associates Scholarship Program (CASP) is a comprehensive, wraparound program designed to ensure that high-achieving, high-need California students don’t just attend UC San Diego – they graduate and thrive. Scholars receive guaranteed housing, priority registration, financial and academic counseling, peer and staff mentorship, and access to a community that believes in their potential.
The annual impact report offers a window into this success: how our scholars are doing, how the program continues to evolve, and how donor support makes it all possible. Thanks to our growing community of supporters, CASP has become a national model for what access and student success can look like – especially for students who have historically been left out of higher education opportunity.
If you support a named scholarship, you’ll also receive a personal update each year from your student – a meaningful way to stay connected to the impact of your generosity.
We hope you enjoy reading about the lives you’ve helped transform.
